Orthognathic surgery is performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon almost always in collaboration with orthodontic treatment, often including braces before and after surgery, and retainers after the final removal of braces. Orthognathic surgery is often needed after reconstruction of cleft palate or other major craniofacial anomalies. Orthognathic surgery is a surgery to correct conditions of the jaw and face related to structure, growth, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure which is usually performed by either an otolaryngologist, oral surgeon, or plastic surgeon in order to improve the function (reconstructive surgery) and/or the appearance (cosmetic surgery) of a person's nose. Rhinoplasty is also commonly called a "nose reshaping" or "nose job". Rhinoplasty can be performed to meet aesthetic goals or for reconstructive purposes to correct trauma, birth defects or breathing problems.

Cleft lip (cheiloschisis) and cleft palate Surgery

Cleft lip (cheiloschisis) and cleft palate (palatoschisis), which can also occur together as cleft lip and palate are variations of a type of clefting congenital deformity caused by abnormal facial development during gestation. This type of deformity is sometimes referred to as a cleft. A cleft is a sub-division in the body's natural structure, regularly formed before birth. A cleft lip or palate can be successfully treated with surgery soon after birth. Cleft lips or palates occur in somewhere between one in 600-800 births.

Fracture of Jaw

Jaw fracture changes the way your teeth fit together. Very often, the mouth cannot be opened wide. There are also shifts to one side when opening or closing the mouth. Most of the jaw fractures occur in the lower jaw. Fractures in the upper jaw may cause double vision. Jaw fracture in upper jaw can also lead to numbness in the skin below the eye. It could also lead to an irregularity in the cheekbone. Any injury which is forceful to fracture the jaw may also injure the spine in the neck. The blow may be powerful enough to fracture the jaw. This may also cause a concussion or bleeding within the skull.

Impacted Tooth Removal

Each individual wisdom tooth is unique and depending on how it grows, it can have different impact on bones and/or tissues. Their varied developments such as impaction, horizontal or slant placement may effect other teeth and cause troubles.
